I have not seen any studies that would suggest B. Laterosporus works on either amoeba's or protozoa.

However, I do see the presence of amoeba's and protozoa on stool test results quite often. They are both types of parasites and are best treated with herbs. If your test results identifies the effective agents on the types you are infected with, you could use all of those herbs for a month or two and clear the problem.

If your test results did not determine what agents are effective, then using a blended herbal parasite product such as this one is the best way to go. That product contains a blend of herbs specifically for parasites. If you took it as directed for a couple months it should clear the infection.
