I was diagnosed with Rhodotorula mucilaginosa in my finger nails, should I have a stool test done? Or other tests? Is it contagious?

Doing other tests is entirely up to you and your doctor, but Rhodotorula mucilaginosa can infect the body anywhere including the intestine.

It might not be a bad idea to have a lab identify what kills it if you are going to take prescription drugs to get rid of it.

All yeasts can be contagious.
