Can males catch a yeast infection in the mouth from consuming a lot of sugar and bread?

by Ahmad

I think I have a male yeast infection in my mouth but it worked its way down into my intestines and stomach. The first sign I had was white pus spots in the inside of my jaw. I paid it no mind and just popped them and brushed my teeth like I always do. But come to find out that it worked this way into my stomach and intestines. So my question is males can catch yeast infection two ways from having sex with a woman that has it and they can also catch it by eating a lot of sugar and yeast?

Experts estimate that 50% of the human population has yeast in their mouths as part of their microbiome. Most of the time it doesn't cause any problems.

However, it can get out of control due to various health problems, typically diabetes, cancer, Aids or other problems that can lead to reduced immune function.

High carbohydrate and high sugar diets could also contribute, because these nutrients are Candida's preferred food source. Studies have also suggested that yeast in foods can infect you as well.
